This machine is a combined cutting-of saw, edge miller and edge sander. The machine is designed for refinishing the edges of moulded veneer plates through trimming of the plate to required length, profile milling of the edge to the requested profile, and finally through edge sanding. Three tasks performed in one operation.
The special clamping system allows both ends to be finished in succession, so there is no spaceconsuming intermediate storage of work pieces and no resetting of the machine. The systems thus ensures trimming at right angles. By mounting of special-purpose cutters on the cutting spindle the machine can also be used for the milling of finger joints.
The machine works semi-automatically and can be programmed for workpiece unloading at either the front or rear slide position. The cutting-, milling- and sanding processes may be engaged/disengaged individually.
